Sahlab is very popular drink in the Middle East during the winter.  Its sweet, creamy and just perfect for those cold days. You can find sahlab powder in all supermarkets in the Middle East but since I live in Texas, I have to make it from scratch. I hope you guys will try it 🙂

Sahlab:

4 cups of milk
3-4 tablespoons of sugar ( if you prefer it sweet you can add more)
4 tablespoons of cornstarch
2 teaspoons of rose water
Cinnamon to decorate or crushed pistachios

Add 4 cups of milk to a medium sauce pan, add the sugar and cornstarch mix well with a whisk and place on medium low heat add the rose water .
Mix well until it has thickened .
Add crushed pistachios or a sprinkle of cinnamon to decorate
