You can find this type of bread in every middle eastern house hold , its great for dipping hummos , cheese , etc..

and great for sandwiches , you can find this in any bakery but nothing  beats home made bread , not only will your house smell amazing it tastes incredible . I hope you will give it a try


1 cup of warm water
1 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of yeast
4 cups of flour
2 cups of wheat flour
2 tablespoons of powder milk
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 teaspoons of salt
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

In a small bowl Add  warm water and sugar, mix in the yeast . Mix well and set aside for 10 minutes.
In a separate large bowl add the all purpose 
 flour and wheat flour , powder milk , baking powder and salt . Mix well
Slowly add the yeast mixture in the flour mixture , add in the oil , Knead the dough either on a machine or by hand until nice and smooth. Add oil in a bowl cover the dough with a little of oil and cover place in room temperature for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
Cut the dough into equal parts i got 10 , place on a baking tray cover for another 30-40 minutes.

Preheat oven to the highest temperature , and with a rolling pin flatten out the dough into round shapes and place  the oven for 6-7 minutes don’t forget to flip it on the other side once its golden

Do you love bread? Do you love cheese?   I have the perfect recipe for you. It’s called honeycomb bread and its so delicious. Its great for family gatherings. Don’t expect to have leftovers because these go fast 🙂


3½ cups of flour sifted

2 tablespoon of milk powder

3 tablespoon of sugar

1½ teaspoon of instant yeast

4 tablespoons of olive oil

1 cup of milk warm

4 tablespoon of melted butter

Any type of cheese cut into small squares or balls

1 egg mixed with 2-3 tablespoons of milk to brush the bread

Add sifted flour to a large bowl , add the milk powder , sugar , yeast and oil . Slowly add in the milk and melted butter .

Knead the dough for 15 minutes by hand or 10 by machine .  Cover and set aside for 1 hour or until it doubles in size .

Roll the dough into a thin log shape and cut into small balls , add a small piece of cheese in its center. Bring the edges together , form a ball so that the cheese is completely enclosed. Place in your baking tray and cover for another 30-40 minutes it will double in size.
Brush the bread with egg and milk brush all over the bread and add sesame seeds on top of the dough, you can use white or black sesame seeds.

preheat your oven to 180 C and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is nice and golden on top.
