Not only does this look good, it also tastes amazing. Such an easy recipe, great for inviting friends and family over for a Chinese feast . I hope you will give it a try ūüôā

Beef with broccoli:
Marinade:
Beef strips
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
4 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon of ginger grated or ginger paste
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of vinegar

2 cups of broccoli
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 teaspoons of oyster sauce
add 1 tablespoon of water mixed with 1 teaspoon of corn starch
1-2 teaspoon of hoisin sauce

Add the beef strips to a large bowl add sugar, garlic, ginger,soy sauce, and vinegar mix it all . Cover and place in the fridge overnight.
place two cups of broccoli in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, remove and place in cold water with ice
for 30-45 seconds. Strain from water.
Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and cook the meat once brown on one side flip it over, the meat will cook in its own juices.
Add the broccoli , cover with a lid until the juice of the meat has evaporated.
Add ¬†soy sauce , oyster and hoisin sauce. Add 1 tablespoon of water mixed with 1 teaspoon of corn starch. Mix well and serve ūüôā

Ouzzi is a popular dish in the middle east , you could either have it with phyllo pastry or without it . It contains rice , minced meat , green peas , carrots and almonds . This is a great meal for having family and friends over . It goes well with salad .

Recipe:

onion chopped

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

1/2 kg minced beef

1 1/2 cup of white long grain rice

2-3 cups water or chicken stock

1/4 cup pine nuts
1/4 cup almonds
1 teaspoon of all spice
1/4 teaspoon of white pepper
1teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of chili pepper
1 teaspoon ofnutmeg
1 teaspoon of salt or more
1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon
 phyllo pastry sheets
egg to brush
Chop 1 onion ,  cook the onions and minced meat in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan and cook until the meat is cooked Soak and wash the rice in water for 15 minutes rinse and drain . Add the rice to a pot and add all of the spices ,and fry the nuts in vegetable oil until golden in color then add it to  rice , add all the fried nuts and meat to the rice give.Also add the vegetables and give it a good mix and add the chicken stock until it covers the rice, and salt to taste
Cook on high until it bubbles,  lower the heat on lowest setting , cover,  and cook until the rice is cooked.
preheat oven at 180c
Once the rice is cooked , let it cool down in a small dish add 2 sheets of phyllo pastry . Spoon some of the rice and meat mixture inside,  and bring the sides of the pastry together and seal brush a little bit of egg .
add it to a greased baking pan, and brush the pastry with  1egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of water
and bake the bundles until golden in color. Serve with a classic arabic salad
