Sahlab is very popular drink in the Middle East during the winter. Ā Its sweet, creamy and just perfect for those cold days. You can find sahlab powder in all supermarkets in the Middle East but since I live in Texas, I have to make it from scratch. I hope you guys will try it šŸ™‚


4 cups of milk
3-4 tablespoons of sugar ( if you prefer it sweet you can add more)
4 tablespoons of cornstarch
2 teaspoons of rose water
Cinnamon to decorate or crushed pistachios

Add 4 cups of milk to a medium sauce pan, add the sugar and cornstarch mix well with a whisk and place on medium low heat add the rose water .
Mix well until it has thickened .
Add crushed pistachios or a sprinkle of cinnamon to decorateĀ
